About this opportunity
MSF Eastern Africa is hiring a Safeguarding Specialist to support and carry out safeguarding policies across its programmes. The role covers workplace investigations, safeguarding audits, staff training and lessons learned.
- Contract: 2 years (renewable), full time, starting January 2027
- Salary: EUR 27,145 a year (HQ Grade 8), plus a monthly work-life allowance of EUR 620–1,159, 10% employer pension contribution, international health insurance and relocation support
- Open to local and international applicants
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in behavioural or social science, human rights, development, law, education or similar. Safeguarding certification is a strong advantage.
- 5+ years in safeguarding, protection or GBV
- A track record of leading workplace administrative investigations in the humanitarian sector
- Fluent English and French; Kiswahili is an advantage
- East or Central Africa experience (highly desirable)
